GetBackOnTrack was founded in 2011 by machinist Jakob Spring, when he turned his lifelong hobby into a professional business. Jakob has more than 25 years of experience re-building the classic boxer engine and driveline. What sets us apart from the field is his nerdy know-how, attention to detail, and experience with various engine combos.

Today, Jakob has surrounded himself with a team of experts, who each contributes with their knowledge, experience, and training. Over the years, we have had our hands deep in over 1000 engines of this type, and all of them have taught us something. Any aspect of driveline work on the classic boxer engine is second nature to at least one of the team members. From literally engine re-building to troubleshooting, general maintenance, tuning, and service, we got you covered. 

Our workshop is geared to meet every demand with our fully equipped machine shop, a dyno department, and even a few secret weapons.

GetBackOnTrack has obtained international recognition for its work on classic engines for classic Porsche and Volkswagen and serves customers through-out Europe. 

Jakob still runs the business and is part of the daily operation together with his team. GetBackOnTrack is located in Hornslet near Aarhus, Denmark.
